1. Create
a homeschool time box with special toys used only for this time.
2. Put
books on tape for your child.
3. Use
a soap holder and an eyedropper .
Here is how it works: (1) fill up an unbreakable cup with water, (2) show your child how to use the eyedropper to fill up each and every little
suction cup on one side with one (and only one) drop of water, (3) show
your child how to empty the suction cup and do it again! Applaud their
efforts when they have it done correctly. This activity promotes great
eye-hand coordination and fine finger movements and is great fun because
toddlers love playing with water! If you are not concerned about
clothing, add a drop of food coloring to the water.
4. Provide
a dress-up box.
5. Make
sewing cards.
6. Make
some colored macaroni and let your child have some fun while learning.
7. Count
tokens and place in egg cartons
8. Measure
and scoop with dry rice.
9. Teach
difficult subjects during nap time.
